Rapper Kwaw Kese has opined that buying cars for the sake of it is not a good investment since the price will surely depreciate over time and eventually become a white elephant.
According to the ‘Dondo’ hitmaker, many buy cars to show off and to spite their friends and enemies but that is completely a bad move.
In a video he shared on social media, Kwaw Kese vehemently preached that anybody who fancies the acquisition of the latest cars does not have a future since these are bad investments.
“Many people buy big cars to showoff but silently they are actually battling with financial constraint. I will advise that invest your money in real estates because the price will shoot up after some years while for the cars, their price keep coming down,” he advised.
According to Kwaw Kese, although he has the money to acquire any car of his choice he doesn’t think it is the best thing to do. He added that he has given out all his fleet of cars for free because he is concerned about his future and not immediate gratification.
Anytime, I think, I do think about the future of my family and children. I can acquire any car I want by God’s grace but I don’t think that is the best thing to do because my future s important, he stressed.
Kwaw Kese went on to brag about how he acquired his first car in 2008 at a time when no artiste in Ghana had a car and how he went on to acquire numerous vehicles but all did not do him any good.
He has resolved to stay frugal with his finances and invest his money in the right places to reap the results in the future and he admonished his fans to do the same.
