Ghana Cocoa Board to be temporary close down after workers testing positive
Cocobod to temporarily close down Accra offices after workers test positive for Covid-19
The Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) will effectively on July 8, 2020 close down its head office in Accra for fumigation exercise.
This has become necessary after some staff tested positive for Covid-19 following a mass testing exercise.
In a press statement signed by Joseph Boahen Aidoo, the CEO of the Board, on Monday, he explained that it “has become necessary due to the mass testing the organization is currently undertaking which has resulted in some staff members testing positive for COVID-19.”
“All necessary arrangements have been made for the affected staff to receive the necessary medical attention and contact tracing is currently ongoing to enforce quarantine and isolation measures,” he added.
All individuals and companies with urgent business with the Ghana Cocoa Board have been advised to contact its online portal.
