The Ghana Health Service has issued a red alert as Ebola virus resurfaces in Africa.

The deadly virus which killed many people years ago is back in the system.

West African country, Guinea has confirmed 7 Ebola cases since Sunday, February 14, 2021.

According to the Ghana Health Service, out of the 7 cases reported in Guinea, 3 have been confirmed dead.

They have urged all regional and district public health emergency management committees to include Ebola in their agenda lest they virus enters the borders of Ghana.
