“I am a big fan of Sarkodie and Shatta Wale and I would love to have songs with them” – Nigerian singer Rema

Img 89601 1024x576 1Nigerian singer and rapper, Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema, has said he is looking forward to working with top Ghanaian artistes like Sarkodie and Shatta Wale.

According to him, he has been a loyal fan of these two artistes long before he rose to fame thus he can’t wait to have them work with him separately on a couple of songs.

In an exclusive interview with Kojo Manuel on the Dryve Show on Y FM, the ‘Ginger Me’ hitmaker stated that his meeting with Sarkodie in London before the outbreak of the Coronavirus was serving as a ground for them to start working together.

“I met Sarkodie in London and we were trying to put something together. I have also been a loyal fan of Sarkodie and Shatta Wale before I rose to fame and I would like to work with them soon,” he said.

He went on to disclose that he has a recorded song with Kwesi Arthur which will be released very soon. Pushed to reveal the title of the said song, Rema said: “I no fit leak am now. I can’t say but let’s watch out.”

Rema listed Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebowy and Kwesi Arthur as the few Ghanaian artistes he knows very well.
