I know the ‘papa no’, that’s John Mahama – Akua Donkor
The founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor has said, unequivocally, that the identity of the face behind the ‘papa no’ term is Former President John Dramani Mahama.
According to the former friend and confidante of the NDC flagbearer, there is no need for Ghanaians to be wondering who the real ‘papa no’ is since it is obviously Mahama.
Akua Donkor made this audacious allegation on Angel FM in Accra and said she has empirical evidence to prove that Mahama is the anonymous personality in the centre of the controversy that erupted from a social media brawl between actress Tracey Boakye and singer Mzbel.
“Ghanaians shoud not worry themselves over who the ‘papa no’ is. This ‘papa no’ is the reason why these girls are fighting on social media.
“I know the Papa No, that’s John Mahama. He is the one everyone wants to know and I can say it is no other person but him,” she said in Twi.
The ‘papa no’ term has become a social trend that has even taken a political turn. Political analysts believe the perception by the public that this term refers to John Mahama can throw his presidential hope to the wind. Others also say Ghanaians have an interesting way of relating to issues, therefore, this may even bolster his chances of winning at the December polls.
Meanwhile, Tracey Boakye has become defensive on social media and replying and daring anyone who has spoken publicly about this issue. Countless videos have been released by the young actress to prove her point that whether she sleeps around to make a fortune or not should not be the headaches of inquisitive Ghanaians.
