NPP Campaign stickers were pasted on the hot meals meant for Junior High School students and teachers in Tamale constituency.
The stickers had the image of aspiring MP for Tamale Central, Dr. Ibrahim Anyars thereon with that of President Nana Addo grinning beside it.
As to if this campaign strategy was endorsed by the ruling party, we cannot tell.
The President announced the initiative in his 15th update on the country’s Covid-19 mitigation measures and said the decision was based on reports that some pupils were going hungry in school due to their compliance with the safety protocols.
But it appears the initiative which has been widely applauded has turned into a medium for a campaign for 2020 elections.
