Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Adina Thembi has shared a video that gives an account of her admission to the hospital a fortnight ago.
Two weeks ago, the “Sika” hitmaker was admitted to the Tema Women’s Hospital where she was diagnosed and per the treatment procedure has to undergo surgery.
Per the content of the video she shared on Twitter, surgery was performed on her to have these Fibroids removed and the process was easier, faster and stress-free than she has anticipated.
The good news is that Adina says she is well and kicking after the surgery.
She wrote: Exactly two weeks ago today I checked into Tema Women’s Hospital to undergo surgery to have Fibroids removed. A HUGE thanks to the surgeons, doctors and hospital staff for making the process more relaxed than I thought it would be!
Grateful for a successful procedure and an ongoing smooth road to recovery. Happy to be able to share my story.
