Thieves have broken into a car and made away with GHC20,000 at Tarkwa Na Aboso, Tarkwainsider reports.
The thieves are reported to have smashed the front driver-side window and made off with GHC 20,000 cash.
The theft took place near the White Horse bar in Tarkwa Na Aboso around 12:30 PM after the car owner had withdrawn the money from Zenith Bank.
The man is yet to make a complaint to Tarkwa Police.
An eye-witness recounted that unknown to the victim, the thieves followed him right when he withdrew the money from the bank and it’s alleged that one of the thieves sounded like a Nigerian.
Abdul Karim Bassit Bawa wrote: “It’s unfortunate, These guys had followed him right from the bank. My source say there was a woman who sells near there, one of them pretended to buy from her blocking her view from seeing what they had come to do.
The woman said the accent of the guy sounds Nigerian.
All must take caution cos they now monitor from banks to your homes.”
