WhatsApp’s New Features for Android
The latest version of Android and iOS brings system-wide Dark Mode to their OS. Even other messaging application like the Facebook Messenger recently got revamped with an optional Dark mode that completely turns the UI into the dark. The wait is finally over and WhatsApp is getting Dark Mode in the next major release. As per the latest reports, It is said that both the Android and iOS version of WhatsApp will be presented with a new Dark Mode.
Unlike any other applications out there, we cannot use WhatsApp simultaneously on multiple devices. WhatsApp Web is the only option that will let us use it on other devices. Now, with the new update, you can use WhatsApp on multiple devices like Android and iOS simultaneously. Facebook, Telegram, Instagram are all having this feature already but finally, it is coming to WhatsApp.
Instagram styled Boomerang video is coming to WhatsApp. Boomerang option found in some Beta versions of WhatsApp let it users create short 7 seconds long looping Boomerang video and sent it to your contacts or even post it as a status. This feature has been there since a very long time in Instagram and finally in WhatsApp, too.
This update is specifically for iPhone users only. Last year Apple introduced Memoji, which lets us create some cool looking Animated emojis. The same is coming to WhatsApp as well. This iOS-specific update will let users use Memoji directly in WhatsApp and sent it to their contacts.

WhatsApp Payments is still in beta stage and a good number of people are already using it. Payments option has not been rolled out to the stable version yet, but it’s expected to roll out with the forthcoming update both on Android and iOS. With the advent of Payments options, you can easily transfer real cash to your contact after linking it with your Bank Account via UPI.
